Chicago Dental Society appoints new executive director

The Chicago Dental Society named Heather Nash as the organization’s seventh executive director and the first female to hold the position.

As executive director, Ms. Nash will be responsible for leading the society’s 14-member staff and overseeing the execution of the organization’s annual Midwinter Meeting, according to a May 16 news release shared with Becker’s.

Prior to the Chicago Dental Society, Ms. Nash served as chief member and event engagement officer with the Emergency Nurses Association and various leadership positions with the American College of Chest Physicians.

Ms. Nash will succeed Randy Grove, who held the position for 33 years. The appointment will be effective June 1, the release said.
