Dr. Gay most recently served as chief dental officer and launched the health system’s oral healthcare services in 2017, according to a Feb. 22 news release from Howard Brown Health.
Before joining Howard Brown Health, Dr. Gay served in private group practice.
She will take over the role from outgoing President and CEO David Ernesto Munar.
The Howard Brown Health board of directors has started the early stages of planning a national search for a permanent president and CEO, the release said.
