Chris Guo, vice president of finance and corporate controller, has been appointed as interim CFO, according to a March 8 news release from Sonendo.
Mr. Watts has been at Sonendo since 2017. It is anticipated that he will occasionally work with Sonendo on a consulting basis to make sure there is a smooth transition.
The company’s board of directors is set to launch a search for a permanent CFO.
Mr. Watts’ departure is effective March 15, the release said.
