Dr. McMillan has served as residency director of the general practice dental resident program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences since 2019, according to an Oct. 15 news release.
In 2024, Dr. McMillan joined the Lyon College School of Dental Medicine in an advisory role.
The dental school is set to welcome its inaugural class in summer 2025, pending accreditation approval.
The appointment will be effective in January 2025, the release said.
