The American Association of Dental Boards has named Kimber Cobb as executive director.
Ms. Cobb has experience in dental hygiene and dental regulation, helping to introduce the Interstate Dental and Dental Hygiene Licensing Compact, according to a July 9 news release shared with Becker’s.
She was previously serving as interim executive director. The appointment to permanent director is effective immediately.
There are currently 35 state dental boards that are members of the AADB, the release said.
