Affordable Care appoints new CEO

Morrisville, N.C.-based Affordable Care recently appointed a new CEO.

Pete Bridgman will succeed Gene Kirtser as the new CEO after Mr. Kirtser retires at the end of February, according to a Jan. 4 news release.

During Mr. Kirtser’s tenure, Affordable Care doubled the size of its network from 220 offices to 440 offices in 43 states. 

Mr. Bridgman previously served as the CEO of Visionworks, the sixth largest optical retailer in the U.S. He then served as chief network officer of VSP Vision following the company’s acquisition of Visionworks in 2019.
