American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry appoints 8 board officers, trustees

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry has named eight new board officers and trustees at its annual meeting.

Here are the the appointments, according to a May 31 press release from the organization:

  • President: Scott Cashion, DDS
  • President-elect: Scott Smith, DDS
  • Vice president: Thomas Ison, DMD
  • Secretary-treasurer: Carlos Bertot, DMD
  • At large/federal service trustee: Anthea Mazzawi, DMD
  • American Board of Pediatric Dentistry director: Steven Rayes, DDS
  • Southeastern district trustee: Ann Bynum, DDS
  • Northeastern district trustee: Hakan Koymen, DDS
