American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry names Dr. Chelsea Fosse director of research, policy center

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recently named Chelsea Fosse, DMD, director of its Pediatric Oral Health Research and Policy Center.

The center was established in 2011 with the goal of advancing research and policy on pediatric oral healthcare.

Dr. Fosse is a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health, according to a Nov. 1 news release. She was most recently a senior health policy analyst with the American Dental Association’s Health Policy Institute, focusing on health policy analysis related to public health issues such as Medicaid, Medicare and the Affordable Care Act. She is also a past program manager for the American Academy of Pediatrics and has authored numerous publications.
