In the role, Dr. Anderson will oversee academic programs and curricula for the dental school, according to a Jan. 10 news release from the college.
Dr. Anderson previously served as division director, department chair and interim associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.
The dental school is set to open in June 2025 with an inaugural class of 80 students, the release said.
