The CareQuest Institute for Oral Health has appointed An Nguyen, DDS, as chief clinical officer.
Dr. Nguyen has nearly two decades of experience working with underserved communities and advancing equitable oral healthcare. She is a past president of the National Network for Oral Health Access and is chair-elect of the Dental Quality Alliance. She most recently served as chief dental officer at Clinica Family Health and Wellness, a community health center in Lafayette, Colo.
In her new role, Dr. Nguyen will work closely with CEO Wade Rakes to advance the organization’s clinical strategy, including efforts to integrate oral health with overall healthcare, according to an April 6 news release.
