Dr. Farag most recently served as executive medical director at Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health, a system with over 550 healthcare locations, nine hospitals and 16 federally qualified health centers, according to a July 25 news release.
In the role, Dr. Farag will be responsible for providing expertise and insights for the Oregon Health Authority’s dental services program including dental services offered through Medicaid.
Dr. Farag will assume the role Sept. 3, the release said.
