Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Spear Education has appointed Dan Butterman, DDS, as chief dental officer.
In the role, Dr. Butterman will be focused on helping dentists achieve professional and practice excellence by improving educational pathways and maintaining education standards, according to a Jan. 22 news release.
Dr. Butterman has practiced dentistry in Centennial, Colo., for more than 30 years and has served as faculty chair of CDOCS since 2023.
