Dr. Richard Williamson appointed director at Nebraska dental school

The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry has named Richard Williamson, DDS, as its new director of global student experiences.

Dr. Williamson has 17 years of experience in private practice dentistry and 20 years of teaching experience as a faculty member of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, according to a Jan. 10 news release. 

In the role, Dr. Williamson will drive advancements in education and healthcare.

Dr. Williamson also serves as director of implants and associate professor at the university, the release said.
