Hawaii Dental Service names 1st female dental director

Heera Chang, DDS, MD, was appointed as the first female dental director of Hawaii Dental Service, a dental benefits provider.

Prior to her new role, Dr. Chang served as an associate surgeon at Oahu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Honolulu, according to a May 12 news release. 

Dr. Chang will work with Hawaii Dental Services consultants on building and managing relationships with the dental provider community. She will also offer clinical and administrative oversight for the company. 

Hawaii Dental Service is the largest dental benefits provider in the state.
