Dental supply company Henry Schein is reducing its board of directors to 10 members following its annual meeting on May 21, 2026.

The company’s board has approved a reduction in size from 15 to 10 members, decreasing its board by about 33%, according to an April 8 news release from Henry Schein.

Stanley Bergman is set to retire after more than four decades as a director at Henry Schein. He will be designated chairman emeritus immediately following the meeting.

Four other current members of the board will not stand for reelection. The board believes the incumbent members nominated for election at the annual meeting will maintain the correct mix of perspectives, experience and skills, the release said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
