New York college names new director of dental hygiene

Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Community College has appointed Kasey Penoyer as assistant dean of the School of Health Sciences and director of dental hygiene, according to a Feb. 26 report from Rome Sentinel.

Ms. Penoyer will provide strategic vision and operational leadership for the health sciences school while assisting the dean in creating intellectual engagement, academic integrity and achievement standards.  

Ms. Penoyer has experience in the dental hygiene field as both a practitioner and educator.

Prior to joining MVCC, she served as program coordinator for the dental health program at the Family Health Network in Cortland, N.Y., the release said.
