Bilal Bazzi has been named Tend's first COO.

Jason Martin became Vista Verde Dental Partners' vice president of field operations Jan. 10.

Lance Shopovick, former senior vice president of Chicago-based DSO Aspen Dental, has joined Elite Dental Partners as its next president and COO, Elite Dental said Jan. 10. 

Former Dentsply Sirona Clinical Officer Teresa Dolan, DDS, has joined Overjet as chief dental officer.

The New York University College of Dentistry in New York City has launched the NYU Pain Research Center and appointed Rajesh Khanna, PhD, as its director.

Clark Stanford, DDS, PhD, dean of the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry, is stepping down from his position in April to lead the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in Iowa City, the Chicago-based school said Jan. 4. 

Dental artificial intelligence company Pearl has added Mike Buckner as senior vice president of partnerships, the Los Angeles-based company said Jan. 4.
