Steven Lepowsky, DDS, was appointed to a second term as dean of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington.
Dr. Lepowsky was originally appointed dean in 2021 after serving in the interim for one year. His second term will last five years, according to a May 28 news release.
Dr. Lepowsky is credited with strengthening the school’s academic programs, clinical operations, research and statewide partnerships. The dental school has ranked among top institutions with the most funding from the National Institutes of Health for four consecutive years under his leadership.
