Bankruptcy does not deter North Carolina dentist from practicing

Prominent Charlotte, N.C., practice Webber Dentistry will see two offices remain open while Spurgeon Webber III, DDS, works through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Dr. Webber's SouthPark office was seized because of $65,403 worth of unpaid taxes, and his other two offices have remained open, reports the Charlotte Observer

According to the bankruptcy filing, Webber Dentistry has between $1 million and $10 million worth of assets, and $1 million to $10 million worth of liabilities with the biggest creditor listed as the Internal Revenue Service, owed more than $1 million, reports the Charlotte Observer surrounding the filing.

"This means that the practice will be able to continue normal business operations as we restructure," Dr. Webber wrote in an email to the Charlotte Observer.
