Henry Schein fights to end cancer with Practice Pink program: 5 things to know

Henry Schein launched its Practice Pink program designed to raise awareness and support a cure for breast cancer and other cancers.

Here are five things to know:

1. Through the program dental customers have the opportunity to purchase a range of pink products.

2. A portion of the product sales, including healthcare consumables, practice supplies and apparel, will be donated to non profit organizations to support research, prevention efforts and early detection, as well as improve access to care.

3. Coming into its 13 year, the Practice Pink program has raised more than $1.3 million.

4. Last year the program expanded to Europe, where Henry Schein members across the continent teamed up with supplier partners and non governmental organizations to fight cancer.

5. Within the U.S., the Practice Pink program provides support to the American Cancer Society, Cohen Children's Medical Center of Northwell Health, Stony Brook Children's Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
