Change Healthcare acquired Docufill, a cloud-based technology that allows provides to use a single shared form across an organization.

Here are three takeaways:

1. Docufill is designed to simplify administrative duties and streamline the credentialing process. The cloud-based software reduces time and costs associated with credentialing.

2. Many dental practices and dental service organizations work with more than 20 different insurance plans. Docufill's software complies all of the necessary forms for filing claims into one standard form.

3. Change Healthcare's network includes 2,100 payers, 5,500 hospitals, 800,000 physicians, 600 labs and 117,000 dentists. The network processed over 12 billion healthcare related transactions, covering over $2 trillion in claims.
