Delta Dental released its 2020 Community Impact Report June 16, which shows the organization's companies and foundation donated more than $102.5 million last year.
The annual report highlights the organization's community investments nationwide. This year's report shows an increase in giving from 2019, which the report stated was in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The report shows Delta supported more than 2,400 programs, affected 24.7 million lives, volunteered 20,000 hours and committed $1.1 billion in COVID-19 relief. Part of the COVID-19 relief went toward supporting dental clinics, while other investments included addressing equity and health disparities and providing dental treatment in underserved communities.
