Liberty will continue to serve as a dental plan administrator for Medi-Cal, the state’s Medicaid program, Dental Program in Sacramento and Los Angeles counties, according to an Oct. 8 news release.
The dental benefits administrator has provided dental services to Medi-Cal members since 2005.
The new multiyear contract is expected to go live in July 2025.
Liberty Dental Plan of California is an affiliate of Liberty Dental Plans, which administers dental benefits across all 50 states to more than 7 million Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, commercial and exchange members, the release said.
