1. Tallahassee (Fla.) Community College has been awarded $1.6 million to help the school increase the number of dental hygienists and surgical technicians in the region.

2. The American Dental Association is asking Congress to make changes to the VA Workforce Improvement, Support and Expansion Act of 2022, known as the WISE Act, to increase support for Veterans Affairs’ dental workforce.

3. More dentists who accept Medicaid are needed in Maine as the state struggles to keep up with an influx of patients under the program.

4. The New Hampshire dental workforce shortage could get some relief when the state’s first dental residency program launches.

5. The HHS Health Resources and Services Administration awarded $1.6 million to the Nevada Medicaid program to help ease dental workforce shortages.
