Employment in offices of dentists has increased by 23,000 employees compared to March 2022, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Situation Report from April 7.
In March 2023, dental practices had 1,027,200 employees, an increase over the 1,004,200 employees in March 2022, according to the seasonally adjusted report.
The bump in employees from March 2022 to March 2023 is an increase of 2.3 percent.
The number of employees from March 2023 is a slight decrease from the 1,029,700 employees in dental offices in February 2023.
