1. The American Dental Association expressed concerns about policy shortcomings in the model legislation for dental therapy adopted by the American Legislative Exchange Council.

2. Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, Wis., is creating the first dental therapy training program in the state.

3. More than 140 organizations and individuals lobbied the Florida Legislature to pass two bills that would authorize dental therapists in the state.

4. The Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners adopted new regulations for dental therapists.  

5. The Vermont Board of Dental Examiners proposed a new set of administrative rules for dental professionals in the state, including new standards to define the scope of practice for dental therapists.

6. N.E.W. Community Clinic, a dental practice in Green Bay, Wis., added dental therapists to its staff to help alleviate its scheduling challenges.
