Group purchasing organization Synergy Dental Partners welcomed two new members to its executive team to help expand the company's growth and member benefits, the company announced in a May 24 press release.
Brian Dershow is joining the company as COO and Jim Gochis as executive vice president of procurement, a new position at Synergy. Mr. Dershow will oversee operations and work to increase contributions to partner practices. Mr. Gochis will oversee program initiatives and implementation while working with practices to increase profitability and address their service needs.
Mr. Dershow was formerly the COO of Dental Fix Rx, a dental equipment service company. Mr. Gochis was most recently the vice president of procurement for Dental Whale.
Synergy is based in Charlotte, N.C., and serves nearly 4,000 dental offices nationwide.
