Keystone Dental raises $25M, acquires Australian technology company

Burlington, Mass.-based dental implant company Keystone Dental has raised $25 million and acquired Australian healthcare technology company Osteon Medical.

Osteon Medical’s services improve digital workflows for clinicians and dental laboratories. The acquisition expands Keystone Dental’s global footprint. The two companies will continue to operate separately, according to a Sept. 1 news release.

In addition to the acquisition, funds from the financing round will be used for Keystone Dental’s market expansions and strategic investments.
