Charlotte, N.C.-based dental product supplier Dentsply Sirona has entered a five-year partnership with cleft-focused nonprofit Smile Train to advance cleft care worldwide, the company said Sept. 24.
Smile Train supports medical professionals in providing free cleft surgeries and treatment to people in more than 70 countries.
In addition to a $5 million contribution and dental equipment donations, Dentsply will work with Smile Train to support best practices, leverage digital technology and provide clinical education courses to the nonprofit's oral health professionals.
