Goose Creek, S.C.-based HireQuest — a franchisor of on-demand, temporary and commercial staffing services — is acquiring the Dental Power Staffing division of Carrboro, N.C.-based Dental Power, a 46-year-old dental staffing company.
Five things to know:
1. Dental Power's staffing division provides temporary, long-term contract and direct-hire staffing services to U.S. dental practices. The division generated $3.5 million in revenue for the year ending Sept. 30, 2021.
2. Dental Power Staffing will operate with its existing team as a corporate-owned subsidiary of HireQuest.
3. The acquisition is funded by existing cash on hand and a modest draw on HireQuest's existing line of credit. Completion of the transaction is subject to numerous closing conditions and is expected in the fourth quarter of 2021.
4. HireQuest is also developing a franchise offering designed for the dental market. It expects to launch the offering in the first half of 2022.
5. HireQuest provides employment for about 60,000 individuals annually through its network of more than 210 franchisee-owned offices across 35 states.
