Sonendo has treated more than 800,000 patients with its GentleWave system, an alternative to traditional root canal therapy.
The GentleWave system cleans and disinfects teeth without removing tooth structure, the dental technology company said March 15.
The 800,000th patient was treated by Mark Germack, DDS, at Core Endodontics in Seattle.
Sonendo also said it added area practice consultants who will work alongside its capital sales representatives on the adoption and utilization of the GentleWave system.
