ZimVie, a dental and spinal surgery supplier, reported $233.4 million in third party net sales for the second quarter of 2022.
The company, a spinoff of Zimmer Biomet, released its second quarter financial results Aug. 10.
Five notes on the company's second quarter financial report:
1. ZimVie reported third party dental segment net sales of $118.2 million, a decrease of $2.2 million compared to the second quarter of 2021.
2. The company saw a total net loss of $8.7 million, up from $4.7 million in the second quarter of 2021 due to what the company said was a decline in spine sales.
3. Adjusted net income for ZimVie landed at $17.6 million, a decline of $1 million compared to the second quarter of last year.
4. The company reported $130.1 million in cash and cash equivalents, up $25.8 million at the end of the first quarter of 2022.
5. The company said it expects to reach $915 million to $930 million in net sales for the full year.
