Henry Schein acquired dental supply distributor Midway Dental Supply.
Midway Dental Supply is led by CEO Steven Kizy, who will join Henry Schein as vice president of strategic development for U.S. dental, according to an Aug. 29 news release from Henry Schein.
Midway Dental Supply's portfolio consists of dental consumable merchandise, equipment, services and education products, which will be consolidated into Henry Schein's U.S. dental business.
Midway Dental Supply has around 200 employees and serves nearly 7,000 customers, according to the release.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
