ZimVie reported $105.1 million in third party net sales for its dental segment.
The dental and spinal surgery supplier released its third quarter financial report Nov. 9.
Here are four notes on the company's third quarter financial performance:
1. Total third party net sales for the third quarter of 2022 were $213.3 million, a 10.6 percent decrease compared to the same period last year.
2. ZimVie's dental net sales saw a 3.9 percent decrease from the third quarter of 2021.
3. A one-day shutdown of the company's Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based dental facility during Hurricane Ian partially contributed to the sales loss.
4. Net income was $800,000, compared to a net loss of $30.2 million for the third quarter of 2021.
The company said it expected to report total 2022 net sales between $915 and $930 million.
