The dental and spinal surgery supplier released its third quarter financial report Nov. 9.
Here are four notes on the company’s third quarter financial performance:
1. Total third party net sales for the third quarter of 2022 were $213.3 million, a 10.6 percent decrease compared to the same period last year.
2. ZimVie’s dental net sales saw a 3.9 percent decrease from the third quarter of 2021.
3. A one-day shutdown of the company’s Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based dental facility during Hurricane Ian partially contributed to the sales loss.
4. Net income was $800,000, compared to a net loss of $30.2 million for the third quarter of 2021.
The company said it expected to report total 2022 net sales between $915 and $930 million.
