Henry Schein has acquired a majority ownership stake in Biotech Dental Group, a dental supply company based in France.
Biotech Dental Group Founder and President Philippe Veran will continue to lead the company with the support of Senior Vice President and Managing Director Dr. Olivia Veran, an oral surgeon. The company will maintain its own brands and go-to-market strategies, according to an April 6 news release.
As a result of the deal, Mr. and Dr. Veran will become minority partners in Henry Schein Orthodontics.
The transaction was announced Dec. 16, 2022.
