Dental supply company Henry Schein launched Practice Green in the U.S. and Canada, an initiative for its healthcare customers to establish sustainable practices.
Through the program, Henry Schein will provide its dental customers with environmentally friendly products, services and solutions, according to an April 17 news release.
The company's "green" product offerings are either reusable, contain recycled materials, can be recycled, are biodegradable or are from a sustainable source.
In addition to the program, Henry Schein will have carbon neutral shipping in its U.S. network during April, the release said.
The initiative was launched in Australia and the Europe, Middle East and Africa region earlier this year.
