Envista said the acquisition aligns with its goals of creating digital solutions for dental workflows. Carestream’s scanners are expected to bring in $60 million by the end of 2021.
The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022.

Carmel, Ind.-based dental supply company Envista will acquire Carestream Dental’s intraoral scanning business for $600 million, Envista said Dec. 22.
