Dental software company Planet DDS recently launched the dental industry's first patient referral management system through its cloud-based Denticon software.
The Internal and External Referral Management Tool allows dental practices to more easily track and manage referrals within a group or with external providers. The internal management tool can be used by dental groups to identify specialists within their group, view fee schedules, set up appointments and securely send health information to a specialist's office. The external management tool can be used by practices to refer patients and communicate with external providers even if they are not a Denticon subscriber.
Planet DDS was founded in 2003 and is based in Newport Beach, Calif.
