3M files patent infringement lawsuit, Henry Schein named “Most Ethical Company” & more – 5 dental company key notes

3M filed a patent infringement lawsuit against German dental firm Dental Direkt GmbH. The lawsuit alleges that Dental Direkt GmbH, based in Spenge, used 3M’s tooth color matching technology when it was not licensed to do so.

Company shares of Danaher dropped 2.36 percent over the last week, but have posted gains of 0.51 percent over the last four weeks, according to an Ashburn Daily report.

Company shares of DENTSPLY International dropped 2.67 percent over the last week. The shares increased 2.11 percent over the last four weeks, according to a Winston View report.

The Ethisphere Institute named Henry Schein a “2015 World’s Most Ethical Company.”

Barry J. Alperin, a director with Henry Schein, sold 6,637 company shares for a total transaction value of $933,427.68, according to a WKRB News & Analysis report.
