ADA Foundation, Henry Schein & more partner for 15th annual volunteer event: 4 notes

Preparation is underway for the American Dental Association Foundation’s 15th annual Give Kids A Smile event, which is slated to take place February 2017.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. At the event, volunteer dentists and oral health professionals provide free dental services to disadvantaged children. These dental services include education, screenings and treatment.

2. In 2016, 300,000 children received care at the event from almost 30,000 dental team volunteers.

3. The event is a partnership between the ADA Foundation, Henry Schein, Colgate-Palmolive and DEXIS.

4. Henry Schein is the program’s official products sponsor; the company has donated more than $14 million in oral health care products.
