Air Force promoting Captain Dr. Richard Waddell — 4 key notes

The U.S. Air Force is promoting Captain Richard Waddell, DDS, to Major on May 27, the Dallas News Era reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Dr. Waddell serves more than 3,000 active duty personnel at Houston County, Ga.-based Robins Air Force Base.

2. Dr. Waddell will be the clinical/support flight commander of the 78th Dental Squadron at Robins Air Force Base. He will manage 30 active duty and civilian employees as they perform treatments.

3. He earned his dental degree from University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

4. The U.S. Air Force awarded Dr. Waddell The Air Force Achievement Medal in 2016.
