Community Dental Care breaks ground on 2nd Rochester, MN office: 4 notes

Community Dental Care, which provides affordable dental care at four offices in Minnesota, recently broke ground at what will be its second Rochester location, according to southeastern Minnesota’s The Post-Bulletin.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. The 18-chair, 9,750-square-foot office will open in fall of 2017.

2. Community Dental Care expects that this new office will serve 10,00 patients for a total of 35,000 dental visits each year.

3. The project is expected to cost $3.9 million. Although Community Dental Care was rejected for state funding, the Rochester City Council approved a $2.25 million conduit loan earlier this summer.

4. Community Dental Care has filed grant applications and will soon begin fundraising efforts to acquire additional funds.
