Laney Schuman, DMD, entered into an agreement with the Atlanta-based dental practice acquisition company Tralongo, according to South West Illinois News. Dr. Schuman hopes this partnership will help build her practice, which currently has locations in Granite City, Ill., and Highland, Ill.

The International Association of HealthCare Professionals recognized Alan B. Singer, DDS, from Brooklyn, N.Y., and Paul G. Byers, DDS, from Front Royal, Va., as leaders in their field.

Amy Haeck, DMD, is converting a home in Meadville, Pa., into a dentist’s office, slated to open July 2017, according to the Meadville Tribune. The property is about 1,400 square feet, and Dr. Haeck’s renovations will add about 2,000 square feet.

The Academy of General Dentistry honored Andrew T. Stewart, DMD — who practices in Fredericksburg, Pa. — with the association’s Lifelong Learning & Service Recognition award, according to Lebanon Daily News. The award recognizes dentists for continued education and dental-related community service.
