Washington, D.C.-based Howard University College of Dentistry named Andre Singleton, DDS, dean of the advisory board. As the board’s dean, Dr. Singleton will lead HUCD’s strategic and visionary planning, community outreach, faculty and student recruitment, alumni engagement and fundraising and grant opportunities.

Rosen Dimov, DMD, is leading Aspen Dental’s new practice in College Place, Wash. Dr. Dimov earned his dental degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark.

Alison Cadaret, DDS, and Sonja Sproul, DDS, are renovating a former bank into dentist offices. The 4,900-sqaure-foot building has been vacant for almost two years, and will house the two dentists separate practices, according to The Register-Guard.

The Texas Dental Association’s House of Delegates elected Joey Cazares, DDS, as the association’s president-elect for 2016 to 2017. Dr. Cazares practices in McAllen, Texas, according to TDMR.
