Henry Schein acquires Dental Cremer: 3 key notes

Melville, N.Y.-based Henry Schein acquired Brazil’s Dental Cremer, a dental supplies and equipment distributor.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Dental Cremer had $145 million in sales in 2016. It services approximately 90,000 dental practices throughout Brazil and has more than 1,000 team members.

2. Henry Schein is incorporating Dental Cremer into its global dental business.

3. Dental Cremer’s CEO Paulo Batista and members of the Dental Cremer management team will join Henry Schein and continue to lead the company.
