Melville, N.Y.-based Henry Schein is integrating its patient management software Dentrix into New York City-based Simplifeye’s wearable technology platform.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Dentrix is a mobile-based practice management software platform. Providers can manage their practice from smartphones. Through the partnership, Providers can now access Dentrix on wearable technology, like the Apple Watch.

2. The integration between the two platforms “marks the first time that wearable technology… connected with dental practice management software.”
