North Carolina Dental Society names Dr. Billy Williams president: 5 notes

North Carolina Dental Society named Billy Williams, DDS, president for 2017, according to Reflector.com.

Here are five notes:

1. Dr. Williams serves as an adjunct faculty member of University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill.

2. He also is an assistant clinical professor at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine in Greenville.

3. Since 2002, Dr. Williams has been the co-chairman for Give Kids a Smile in Pitt County (Pa.).

4. With more than 30 years of dentistry experience, he is a fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

5. Since its inception in 1865, the North Carolina Dental Society has accrued nearly 3,600 members.
