The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, along with the University of Pittsburgh, discovered the severity of tooth decay correlated with mutations in the hair keratin 75 after analyzing intra-oral records and genetic information of 706 adults and 386 children, according to International Business Times.
