1. The advocacy group partnered with local dentists and athletic teams to put on the event.
2. Dentists provided the care while athletes educated the children on oral hygiene.
3. Dozens of individuals from dental offices in Fresno volunteered for the cause.
4. Team Smile dentist, Xavier Gutierrez, DDS, said, “It’s a way for the kids to get free dental care have local athletes get to play with them, learn about oral hygiene and leave with a ticket to a Fresno State home game.”
