Three groups call for oral health reform in Oregon

The Oral Health Funders Collaborative, Oregon Oral Health Coalition and Oregon Health Authority have banded together to launch the Strategic Plan for Oral Health in Oregon (2014 to 2020) initiative, according to a Portland Business Journal report.

The plan, revealed at the 9th Annual Oregon Oral Health Coalition Conference, calls for a state dental director. The director would be primarily responsible for improving a number of state oral health benchmarks.
